LEAD CONSULT AT E-WORLD 2019 – the future of Energy Markets explored
Essen, Germany, February 2019 – LEAD Consult, an independent IT services provider in Europe, participated for the 5th year in a row in E-World energy & water, the largest fair for the energy industry, held in Germany. The company, known for its quality design of ETRM solutions, participated in over 50 scheduled meetings, and met with their partners in the energy world, to discuss the challenges that lie ahead for the industry, as well as exchange ideas and know-how.
“Once again, E-World underscored its key position as a leading event, which provides important momentum for the industry. We are excited to be part of it in these progressive times”, the management of LEAD Consult shared. After meetings with a diverse range of participants, LEAD Consult’s team shared their excitement about being part of the event. “This was an incredible opportunity to meet prospective business partners, see where we are currently at in the industry, and further establish our place there”, the management – Alexander Nikolov (Head of business department) and Dragomir Stanchev (Head of IT department) – further concluded.
This year the event held a record number of exhibitors – more than 18,000 visitors, as well as all major players in the energy sector gathered, and within three days shared their knowledge in conferences, seminars and workshops. The annual get-together in Germany attracts exhibitors and visitors from around the world to inform about the latest technologies in the core areas of the energy industry: generation, efficiency, trade, transport, storage and green technologies. Around half of the exhibitors work in the field of energy services, while the rest – in information technologies, energy trading, and mobility and storage. Around ten percent of participation is from the field of energy production.
The major topics discussed during the event included the future of the global markets, architectural infrastructure for innovative energy and sustainable technologies and services, among others. At the time of the fair the E-world congress also takes place, and it offers over 20 conferences on topical issues such as the European electricity market and the international gas market, where knowledge is firsthand mediated by internationally renowned expert speakers. LEAD has a vested interest in these topics and aims to be part of the companies that shape the market in the coming years.
