Easter with purpose: giving time where it matters most
Some mornings just feel different, especially when they’re filled with baked goods, laughter, and a shared spirit of giving back at work.
On April 10th, the usually quiet corners of WorkBetter slowly filled with the scent of baked goods, the hum of chatter, and the warmth of people coming together – not just to celebrate Easter early, but to do something that mattered.
Our Charity Easter Bazaar, co-organized with WorkBetter, started with a simple idea: let’s do a little good, together. By mid-morning, it had become so much more – a cozy, colorful moment of community and care.
From bakes to beautiful jewelry: a bazaar full of heart
The bazaar featured a joyful mix of handmade crafts, sweet (and savory!) treats, creative jewelry, and warm conversations. Colleagues from LEAD Consult and members of the WorkBetter co-working community showed up with their arms full – and their hearts even fuller. Whether it was a tray of brownies, hand-knitted gifts, or a cheerful smile behind the counter, every contribution added something beautiful.
And the best part? Every single lev raised went to a cause that truly matters.
Supporting podari vreme – “give time”
At the heart of this initiative was the Podari Vreme Foundation – an organization whose very name means Give Time. And that’s exactly what they do.
Podari Vreme works with children growing up without parental care, offering more than just material support. They offer presence, mentorship, consistency. A caring adult who shows up – again and again, simply because the child matters.
We were honored to welcome their team at the event, and even more honored to play a small part in their big, ongoing mission.
More than one morning: Why giving back at work matters
This small but meaningful bazaar reminded us why giving back at work matters beyond holiday seasons. It was a reminder that sometimes, a slice of cake and a moment of connection are more than enough.
That giving isn’t always about money. Sometimes, it’s about giving your time, your effort, your presence.
